PRiME Awarded Connaught Global Challenge Funding to Expand Global Partnerships

The development of precision medicine requires extensive collaboration and integration of new technologies across disciplines. PRiME has received a 2020 Connaught Global Challenge Award to establish international partnerships with leading research institutions focused on advancing precision medicine globally.
The program will develop partnerships with four key universities: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, National University of Singapore, ETH Zürich, and the University of California, San Francisco, leveraging their research strengths in complementary areas.
Three main initiatives will be established: the PRiME Frontiers of Precision Medicine Speaker Series, a PhD and PDF Exchange Program providing hands-on training at partner institutions, and the PRiME Scholars Program offering undergraduates four-to-six-week research experiences with entrepreneurship boot camps. Programming began virtually due to COVID-19, transitioning to in-person activities when safe travel resumed.
